Not much of a blogger but I really enjoyed playing at Power Poker. I had the opportunity to play in our GFN War games and cashed. Took that money and built it up and hit your casino site which I won and was able to withdraw from. Got greedy and ended up losing what I had remaining. I didn't know when not to stop but have learned my lesson.

I enjoy playing against pros because I can see how they play online and gives me the chase to learn. Don't get the opportunity to often but have had the privilege. Seems it makes me a better player as well. Wish I could do it more often. Course I play with a lot of great players but I think the 'PRO" status just has something about it.

I have only been playing for maybe 6 years and still have so much to learn and I learn something every day.

Power Poker is a great site and has so many promos and opportunities for us FB fans too. Thanks for all you do and hopefully someday I will gain that chance to take out "Zigmund".

Blessings and Power Poker Chips to all!

The Good Life

Hey, my name is Fabian I live in germany and I`m 18 years old.

I started playing poker at the age of 16 and ever since then I`m addicted to the aspect of math in poker, bluffing and the question how to play a hand the best way.

I registered my Account at PowerPoker instantly at my 18th birthday because I just felt like this is the best site to play at and the fact that I`ve read a lot of good reputations made me wanna play here.
PowerPoker never dissapointed me - Great Bonuses, superfast support (As a VIP I even have my own VIP Manager) and an awesome Software make it easy for me to grow my bankroll.

You can find me at the NL50 6max and NL20 Tables tables. I'm always good for a nice conversation in chat even though I Multitable 10+ tables.

Poker offers a great opportunity of earning a good amount of money every month to me, and even these are no "High Stakes Tables" it is still a lot for a student who is trying to graduate next year. After a winning-session I cashout the half of the made money to party, buy luxury stuff and save a little to buy a new car in the next months (But this could take a while ;)). The other half makes my bankroll grow constantly.

My best buddy Hannes, who is also playing at PowerPoker and I always coach each other (And also other NL10,20 Players) and we try to get a little better every day by analysing hands, reading books and watching videos. We are always challenging each other and motivate us to play etc, but our old goals are getting a little boring, so we decided to take a new one:

10k until the end of this year - we start today and the challenge ends on Decemeber 31st.
It is a tough but possible goal and it is definitly motivating :)

See you at the tables,
Fabian :)

My PowerPoker experience

I started playing at PowerPoker almost one year ago. Before, I was playing at the “bigger” poker rooms. At some day I had a conversation with a friend of mine about rakeback. We came to the conclusion that it should be much better to play poker with a rakeback deal. After doing some research at the internet, I decided to start playing at PowerPoker.

The first deposit bonus of $600 was a really good thing off course and that in combination with a 33% rakeback deal and some weekly or monthly rakeraces. It’s not hard to win some money in those rakeraces at all. I was playing 20nl and I came easily “in the money” in those races.

I was a little bit surprised about how easy it was to earn money, by just “playing” poker. Even when I played break even for a month, I was still up. Just because of the rakeback and rakeraces. So for me it was almost impossible to lose money. I was moving up to 50nl and 100nl in just a few months. I never had something like that before. Now I never want to play without rakeback anymore.

I recommended friends of mine that they should move to PowerPoker. Even my girlfriend has made an account at PowerPoker. She learnt a lot of poker in just a few weeks. It’s funny to see how she is grinding the Heads Up Sit & Goes now. PowerPoker is the only room where she wants to play at. She likes the software so much, that she doesn’t what to play somewhere else anymore.

I like the software also. It’s fast and the lobby is easy to navigate, with the ability to switch between ring games and tournaments, and select the specific game type where I’m looking for. The filter is also a good option.

Table selection is also an important thing for me when I play cashgames. The lobby provides some key stats like the percentage of players seeing the flop and the average pot size.

The table graphics are well designed. With some nice features like “bet pot” and “bet half pot”. The notes feature is also a good one, because I have the ability to colorize my opponents. This is useful when I’m playing multiple tables. In just a quick view I know with what kind of opponent I’m dealing with. Unfortunately the tile table option still doesn’t work for me. When I select this option, I get a sort of cascade formation or something.

At the lower stakes the games are very soft with a lot of fish. In the afternoon the games are not very well. There are just not enough tables to make a good table selection. For me no problem at all, because most of the time I play in the evening. The Cake network is still growing so I think playing at PowerPoker will become better and better in the near future.

The VIP status on PowerPoker is a good thing. Sometimes I receive some nice reload bonuses, by just talking to Jacqui on MSN. She gives me good support too. I think it would be nice if PowerPoker organise more VIP tournaments. I can remember that I received one or two times an e-mail with an invitation for a tournament. Nowadays I don’t receive these e-mails anymore.

There is one thing at PowerPoker I hate and that’s the “Mini games”. There are a lot of people that gonna play some blackjack when they just lost a few buy ins. Sometimes, I have also the intension to play blackjack, but it is frustrating, so it’s best to avoid it.

Anyway, PowerPoker is a good room. (VIP)Support is good and quick, cashouts are processed quickly and the bonuses/promotions are well arranged. I love to see that even the low stake players have the ability to take his or her share in promotions.

Keep going PowerPoker!
